In the Caribbean region, the local water board (ASADA) of La Florida de Siquirres will launch an educational initiative titled “Exploradores del Agua” (Water Explorers). Combining technology with hands-on field trips and educational workshops, this project seeks to mentor and empower local youth to act as official water guardians for their regional watersheds.
The third initiative, led by the Fundación Costa Rica para los Niños, will bring critical infrastructure to remote indigenous communities in Talamanca and Boruca.
