Guanacaste Airport Unveils Enhanced Dining Experience

Guanacaste, Costa Rica — Liberia, Costa Rica – Guanacaste Airport (LIR), part of the VINCI Airports network, has announced the grand opening of five new dining establishments, offering travelers a wider array of culinary choices. This initiative responds to the airport’s steadily increasing passenger traffic and aims to provide a more enjoyable and convenient experience.

The new concessions, located in the boarding areas, add 68.9 square meters to the airport’s food and beverage offerings. Each venue provides a unique experience, catering to diverse tastes and preferences. Travelers can now choose from Street Attitud, offering quick and contemporary pizzas and paninis; Sweet Minis, specializing in delightful pastries and sweets; Daily Break, serving premium Costa Rican coffee; Brewery, featuring a selection of national and craft beers served from a vibrant tuc tuc; and Crushly, focused on healthy, high-protein, gourmet options.

The expansion of Guanacaste Airport presents complex legal considerations, particularly regarding land acquisition, environmental impact assessments, and compliance with international aviation regulations. Successful navigation of these areas requires diligent adherence to Costa Rican law and proactive engagement with all stakeholders, including local communities and environmental organizations. This will be crucial for ensuring the project’s long-term sustainability and positive impact on the region.
