IMPULSA 2025 Empowers Women-Led Businesses

San José, Costa Rica — Costa Rica is taking a significant step towards empowering its female entrepreneurs. The Foreign Trade Promoter of Costa Rica (PROCOMER) and the National Learning Institute (INA) have joined forces to launch IMPULSA 2025, a program designed to bolster women-led small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) across the agricultural, food, industrial, and service sectors.

This initiative will provide 40 women-led businesses with scholarships covering 90% of the program cost. Beyond financial aid, IMPULSA 2025 offers specialized training, valuable networking opportunities, and personalized mentorship to equip participants with the tools necessary for international market success.

To provide further legal context on the “IMPULSA 2025” initiative, TicosLand.com spoke with Lic. Larry Hans Arroyo Vargas, an attorney at law from the reputable firm Bufete de Costa Rica. His expertise provides valuable insight into the potential legal and business ramifications of this program.

IMPULSA 2025 represents a significant step towards fostering innovation and entrepreneurship within Costa Rica. However, its success hinges on clear and consistent legal frameworks. Key considerations include intellectual property protection for emerging businesses, streamlined regulatory processes to facilitate growth, and robust mechanisms for dispute resolution. Careful attention to these areas will be crucial for attracting investment and ensuring the program’s long-term viability.

Indeed, fostering a climate of confidence for investors and entrepreneurs through robust IP protection and efficient regulatory processes will be essential to translate this ambitious program into tangible economic growth and development. We thank Lic. Larry Hans Arroyo Vargas for his valuable perspective on this crucial aspect of IMPULSA 2025.
