A standout feature of this regional tour is a targeted initiative to promote female empowerment and technical education. Through a collaborative partnership between PROCOMER, Fundación CARICACO, and the National Commission for Educational Loans (CONAPE), ten local women from Guanacaste will be preselected for specialized educational funding. This joint venture plans to benefit 50 women annually between 2026 and 2028, funding university, technical, or English courses in high-demand areas. Notably, once these beneficiaries complete their training and secure employment, they will qualify for a partial debt exemption under the program’s incentive structure.
