One of the most anticipated milestones of this initiative is the imminent installation of three comprehensive precision agriculture systems in Turrialba. These systems will be powered by cutting-edge Internet of Things sensors. These state-of-the-art sensors are specifically engineered to continuously monitor and assess soil fertility by measuring essential macronutrients, notably nitrogen and potassium.
By leveraging continuous soil monitoring, farmers can precisely tailor their fertilizer applications and irrigation schemes.
