Developed entirely over a period of nine months in the workshop of Bebedero de San Antonio de Escazú, the intricate piece required two full-scale structural prototypes to master the delicate geometry of its interwoven curved lines, which form a complex, flowing sphere.

Transporting the massive three-ton sculpture from the studio in Escazú to its final home in Sabana posed its own set of technical trials. The entire piece had to be moved as a single, indivisible structural unit, requiring precise logistical planning to ensure that the delicate curves and complex metallic geometry remained completely uncompromised during transit.
Adding to the multi-sensory experience of the monument is a highly integrated water feature designed by renowned architect Willy Gondre. Gondre successfully merged the element of flowing water with Bracci’s metallic sculpture and the surrounding landscape architecture, resulting in a cohesive installation where movement, sound, and structure interact seamlessly with the urban environment.
