To realize these expressive designs, the collection heavily leverages eco-friendly sourcing, prioritizing South Korean cotton and industrial textile surpluses. Rather than discarding leftover fabric from production runs, the brand repurposes even the smallest textile scraps to manufacture matching accessories and distinctive patch designs, achieving a near-zero-waste production flow.
Kader’s environmental ethos recently led her to participate in a pioneering creative residency at W Costa Rica Reserva Conchal, located in Guanacaste. During the program, she immersed herself in the hotel’s extensive sustainability initiatives, including an on-site organic garden producing fresh ingredients, a comprehensive recycling facility, and a large-scale composting system.
It was very nice to see all that process and know that they could bring things from outside, but they are growing a self-sufficient community here.

The residency sparked a unique collaborative project between the designer and the resort. W Costa Rica provided Kader with discarded makeup-removal towels, which she artfully transformed into patchwork handbags. The resulting accessories preserve key structural details of the original towels, visually honoring their source while demonstrating the creative potential of upcycling.
Kader’s journey in the fashion world began in her childhood, designing doll clothes before receiving her first sewing machine at age 12. At 18, she moved to New York to study at the prestigious Parsons School of Design, gaining valuable industry experience through internships and styling projects. Returning to Costa Rica in 2019, she initially sold one-of-a-kind pieces, but eventually evolved her business model toward structured production utilizing surplus materials to combine scalability with environmental consciousness.
What I have always wanted with my company is to express myself through design, but more than anything, to raise awareness among people.

Looking ahead, the designer is aiming for controlled international growth. Her garments are now sold at Aret Studios, a boutique with presence in New York and Los Angeles, and she is exploring prospective opportunities in Mexico City. However, Kader remains focused on balancing global expansion with solidifying her home market in Central America.
