Alajuela, Costa Rica — DDS Lab, a leading full-service dental laboratory in the United States, has inaugurated its first Latin American facility and third worldwide, located in the Costa Rica Green Valley Free Trade Zone.

This milestone positions DDS Lab as a pioneer in the medical sector, extending operations beyond Costa Rica’s Greater Metropolitan Area (GAM).

Spanning approximately 10,000 square meters, this new facility marks a significant expansion in DDS Lab’s production capabilities.

DDS Lab currently employs around 80 individuals, with 61% being women and 90% of the workforce hailing from local communities, including Grecia, San Ramón, Naranjo, Palmares, Sarchí, and Atenas. By the end of 2024, the company aims to reach 100 employees and has a vision to create 1,000 jobs in the region over the next five years.
