Navigating Costa Rica’s job market requires understanding both the opportunities and the legal landscape. While the country offers diverse employment prospects, especially in tourism, technology, and renewable energy, it’s crucial for both employers and employees to be aware of the labor code, which covers areas like minimum wage, working hours, and termination rights. For foreign workers, securing the correct visa is paramount, and consulting with legal counsel is highly recommended to ensure compliance and avoid potential complications.
