We are very excited today because we are being awarded the UNDP seal, the seal of equity. It has been a very strong effort that we have undertaken for almost two years. Today, the institution as such is certified with this seal. It is the first public institution to obtain it. Last year we had also obtained the INAMU seal with the INTGT 38 standard. Of course, this is an effort of the entire INA, so we thank all the staff for the effort we made, and well, today we are reaping the reward.

As noted by Alfaro, the institute had already earned a national certification from the National Institute for Women (INAMU) last year under the INTGT 38 standard for gender equality management systems. Achieving both national and international seals validates the institute’s comprehensive approach and reinforces its leadership in creating an inclusive organizational structure from the ground up.
Capitalizing on this momentum, the event also served as the platform for the launch of INA’s new Institutional Equality Policy. This forward-looking framework is designed to further consolidate the gains made and introduce new initiatives to continue closing remaining gaps.
